Round Lake Beach
is a village in Lake County, Illinois, United States.
The population was 25,859 at the 2000 census, and estimated
to be 28,253 as of 2005.
As of the census[2] of 2000,
there were 25,859 people, 7,349 households, and 6,026
families residing in the village. The population density
was 5,176.4 people per square mile (1,996.8/km²).
There were 7,608 housing units at an average density
of 1,522.9/sq mi (587.5/km²). The racial makeup
of the village was 74.35% White, 3.06% African American,
0.62% Native American, 2.07% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander,
16.97% from other races, and 2.89% from two or more
races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 31.26% of
the population.
