Frankfort Square
is a census-designated place (CDP) in Will County, Illinois,
United States. The population was 7,766 at the 2000
census.
As of the census[2] of 2000,
there were 7,766 people, 2,363 households, and 2,018
families residing in the CDP. The population density
was 3,705.4 people per square mile (1,427.8/km²).
There were 2,376 housing units at an average density
of 1,133.7/sq mi (436.8/km²). The racial makeup
of the CDP was 94.84% White, 1.27% African American,
0.05% Native American, 1.74% Asian, 1.21% from other
races, and 0.89% from two or more races. Hispanic or
Latino of any race were 4.02% of the population. There
were 2,363 households out of which 57.7% had children
under the age of 18 living with them, 73.5% were married
couples living together, 8.6% had a female householder
with no husband present, and 14.6% were non-families.
11.8% of all households were made up of individuals
and 1.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of
age or older. The average household size was 3.29 and
the average family size was 3.60.
